Awards 2007: Carrick Award: Programs
that Enhance Learning

Flinders University Rural Clinical School's Parallel
Rural Community Curriculum (PRCC) has won a 2007 Carrick
Award for Programs that Enhance Learning in
the category 'Educational Partnerships and Collaborations with
Other Organisations'.
This is the first time that a Flinders University program (as
distinct from a teacher or group of teachers) has won a Carrick
Award. |

Opening of FURCS building in Mt Gambier

After years of planning the new FURCS
building in the grounds of the Mt Gambier hospital was opened
on Monday 4 June 2007. The photo shows the Hon. Tony Abbott
MP, Minister for Health, with Prof Paul Worley unveiling the
