This Facility provides a wide range of modern research microscopes together with computerised image acquisition and processing, and is available to all appropriately trained members of Flinders University and Flinders Medical Centre for research, training, diagnostic and consulting purposes.
Currently the Facility offers:
- Multiple-labelling fluorescence microscopy,
- Laser scanning confocal microscopy,
- High resolution bright-field microscopy,
- Transmission electron microscopy,
- Scanning electron microscopy with energy dispersive X-ray analysis,
- Digital deconvolution, 3D reconstruction and analysis programs,
- Vibrational Microscopy
